Horizon nearing

One thing I thing I love has to be water. It's one of those places that are relaxing and peacefully. And since my life is kind of hectic, I feel like I need every now and again time away. And who doesn't? Everyone needs a break at one time or another. Life gets too busy. Things get in the way. And I just love taking photos of water. Well any kind of water. It's one of those things that are hypnotizing to me. And I just feel like the world around me just fades away for a few moments. But isn't beautiful? Isn't relaxing? Doesn't want to make you go there yourself? 

It's amazing what a little time away can do for a person...for the soul. We live in a world where everything is in a state of madness. In a rush. Everyone is in a hurry with really no place to go, Just because. We have to have everything now and if we don't we get super upset like no other. Why can't we just take time to see? Why can't we take time to just relax? Some of us say we'll relax when we're dead. But I don't think that's far. Take time for yourself. Take time to breath. Take time. Go some place new. Go on an adventure. I have found that when I have gotten away I have found a new part of me. Or I have been able to let myself heal. It's a beautiful thing. Put your feet in the water. Relax. And just take time to be you. No matter what you do. Always take time for you.


So, water...One of those things that I will continue to take pictures of. Whether it's the ocean, a cute little pond or a still calm lake. Anything to be able just be near it. Some people might say I may be a mermaid. Since I am so drawn to water. I may be mermaid. Or I may have a deep love for the beautiful things that surround me.

Change in a name

Hello there!
        I have found out there are a lot of people that have the same name as I do. So, I have been thinking about changing my photography name. It has been a long time coming. I have now change it to LillyFlowerPhotography. I will still try to do a blog as much as I can. So, there's the new name of my photography. It's a new name. I haven't given up on my passion, my dream, my goal. No one should give up on things like that. Don't give up. Never stop trying. Never!

Of sea and sky

              

             Nature. What more can I say about that? It's beautiful. Mysterious. And relaxing. And each picture can say those words in just one take. One thing I love do besides taking pictures of amazing people, is taking pictures of nature. There are times when you just have to take time away from your every day life and take a moment of reflecting. Each picture is that. A time of reflection. What can be more beautiful than that? 

With these photo shots I was amazed that I was able to take them. I have realized that sometimes it's just not easy to take pictures. Including if you want them to say something. I love this pictures. Some of my best work of nature.  A quiet road. Creeks and lakes. With the one above I had never been on such a still quiet road. This is what it was. Normally when I want to take pictures of roads, there also full of traffic. And I have end my plans and find something else to capture. I was luck with this one. I am hoping to take more photo similar. "Try and try again." It's one of those moments I have to remind myself to away continue trying. And to continue pressing on.

 I just happen to be in the right spot at the right time with this one. What a beautiful day this was. A quiet continual streaming creek. This was one of those reflecting days for me. Here, when I took this picture I had not thought about nature like this. The best part about a picture is that it can say things that sometimes words cannot. What do these pictures say to you? What words come into your mind when you see these? It's like a painting caught within a moment of reflection.  

I think pictures can be in either black and white or just in color. It's a feeling, an emotion that says it all. No matter what picture it is, they all say something.  And they can show the true behind the story.

Model de Model

I cannot believe this girl is almost 9 months. She is the reason why I try to continue to pursue my dreams. She is what keeps me going. I truly love this girl. And she is my favorite model. Even though now it's getting more and difficult to  do. She's more mobile than ever. Wanting to explore here and there. Wanting to get into EVERYTHING. 

  

But I have to say that she is the much fun. I love watching her grow. Even though there are times I wish she was still little. Cuddles were easier. And being able to get things do around the house was easier. But they all grow up at some point.  As you can see, she does love to pose for the camera. She is what we call Ms. Hollywood. I love perfecting my photography with her. 

 

This one above is one from her three month photo session. She had no idea what I was doing, but she just loved the sound the camera made. It was different. And it was interesting. She is just cute as a button. She challenges my photography. The ways I can move, I have to be quick and quick thinking. What would put a smile on her face? What would make her laugh or giggle? Her monkey? A random toy? This makes me want to take other children's pictures. They are just so cute. 

                                               

Overall, I wouldn't want to change my life. My great grandfather always said  "try and try again. If you don't try you don't know." So, here I am trying. For me. For her. I want her to know that you just keep trying. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I know that I still need practice. Everyone does. It's a continuous progress. And I'll still keep practicing my craft. I love taking pictures. I love capturing picture. Those special moments. Everyone has them. Whether they are weddings, a first birthday, a pregnancy, and the list goes on and on. Why not try? Why not following your dreams? So many people just throw the towel when it comes to their dreams. A lot of people are there stopping you from pursuing those dreams. Why listen? You have a dream. I have a dream why not follow it. Keep on swimming. 

 

So, with all this I will keep on keeping on. Pictures are beautiful. I will keep on trying. Keep on reaching for this dream that I have. Never give up. Never stop trying. People nowadays are just full of negativity. And they don't understand what your're doing and why. I have people in my life like that. Does it make a lot money? How much? Or they say I'll never be able to fully do this. I choose to listen to my heart. What does my heart say? Dreams are a beautiful thing. If we don't make them a reality then they are only dreams locked inside our hearts our minds. Here I am capturing picture one special moment at a time.
